The Shop
It is tempting to stop in the shop and browse a while. Australian made goodies, many of them local, make great gifts for friends or just to spoil yourself. Gift-wrapping is free, and there are many lovely hand crafted cards to add a special touch to your purchase.

Create a Wildflower Garden
The wildflowers of the south west of WA are among the best in the world. At Zanthorrea, you can choose beautiful native plants for your own wildflower garden and have flowers all year round. Your native garden will provide a home for local wildlife and help save precious water.

The Atrium
The atrium is a peaceful place to enjoy the lush green ferns, indoor greenery and colourful plants for shady areas. As well as fresh indoor and shade loving plants, the atrium is home to metal sculptures from Paul Moro, quality Australian made windchimes and locally made bird feeders.

Seedlings
At Zanthorrea we pride ourselves on the freshest seedlings. As well as the latest releases of flowers and vegetables, we carry a budget range of fairy flower seedlings for $2.45. To quickly transform your garden, select from the range of fresh potted colour.

Terracotta Pots
Our terracotta pots are handy for patio plants. Where possible we choose decorative local terracotta, but the machine produced Italian terracotta is attractive and affordable.

Trendy Pots
Glazed pots in fashion colours enhance the home and garden, and can enhance your gardening theme. We can organise delivery for large pots, or if you would like to take your pot home today, we can carry it to your car. There's always something new.

The Gazebo
Stay a while and relax in the gazebo. Bring a picnic or buy some munchies from the shop. The cappuchino machine supplies coffee for $2, or help yourself to instant in the refreshment corner of the atrium. There are plenty of seats and tables.

Information Hut
Located in the centre of the nursery, our information hut contains a wide range of free information sheets and pamphlets to help you make the right choices.

Bush Garden
Wander through the bush gardens, and see how easy it is to attract birds, frogs and butterflies to your garden. Enjoy the wandering paths through a changing landscape. Look for the labelled themed gardens.

Formal Garden
If formal gardens are your preferred style, it is possible to create a formal garden using exclusively native plants. Let us show you how to create a formal native garden which used very little water and is easy to maintain.

Local Plants
The most waterwise plants are the ones that live here in our harsh climate. Birds frogs butterflies and other local fauna can make their home in a garden supplying food and shelter.

Starter Plants
Many plants are available in tubes, or starter plants. They give you more garden for less. Starter plants quickly establish strong roots. We recommend improving the planting hole with a spadeful of organic material such as ‘soil improver’.

The Play Area
The children can play out of the sun in our Forpack designed play area. Although we take every care to ensure the play equipment is safe, adult supervision is recommended especially for pre-school aged children.

Molly and Polly
Come and meet our two bantam hens Molly and Polly, living in their pen up near the children's playground.

Gift Wrapping
At Zanthorrea we are happy to offer free gift wrapping of your purchase, all year round.

Growing Area
Many of the plants we sell are grown in our NIASA accredited nursery.  This ensures we have unusual and rare plants that you will not find in other nurseries.
